District Four of the United States Power Squadron is holding a Charity Poker Run on the Barnegat Bay on July 19 starting at 11am followed by a picnic at Toms River Elks.

Picture People of the Ocean County Mall are holding a Dare to Care event to raise funds for Ocean of Love.  Photos will be taken and displayed during the week of July 13-18.  Families who choose to be a part of the charity event will receive a free 5x7.  There is no cost to have photos taken to be included in this event.  The theme of the photos will be Beach Bum Blast.  Photos will be voted on via votes costing 1 cent each minimum, and all vote money will be donated to Ocean of Love.  The Two winners (one male/one female) will each receive $100 in photo packages and be named King or Queen of the Beach.  The final event will be held on July 19 at 1pm.  Call the Picture People at 732-505-4042 for more information.
